BDNC’s Strategic Plan for the year 2022 – 2024 encompassing close to 30 keys initiatives was established. The theme “BDNC Rise 2024” serves to reinforce BDNC in achieving the targets it has set to achieve in 2024
- One of the five key elements of BDNC’s Prime Minister’s Class Mid-Life Blueprint (Submarine Mid-Life Blueprint), Submarine Mid-Life Upgrade (MLU) was launched in Jan 2022 with the Workshop for the Submarine MLU successfully held in Kuala Lumpur from 18 to 21 Jan 2022, attended by MINDEF, RMN and all main OEMS.
- Demonstration of the Combat Management System (CMS), Tactical Table and Tactical Trainer was successfully held by Naval Group on 17 May 2022 at Nexus Resort and Spa Karambunai. The demonstration was attended by more than 20 RMN officers and personnel from the RMN Submarine Command Headquarters and BDNC’s Combat System team.
During the 7th Transfer of Know-How Graduation Ceremony on 25 Mar 2022, BDNC honoured not only 61 graduates from BDNC but also 24 Royal Malaysian Navy’s personnel and 4 graduates from Science & Technology Research Institute for Defence (STRIDE).
