On the 2nd of November 2022, our Head of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE), Ahmad Fithri Ahmad Yahya was one of the professional’s invited speakers at The National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) as one of the speakers in the 7th Borneo Occupational Safety and Health Conference and Exhibition (BOSH 2022) at the Pullman Kuching Hotel.
BOSH 2022 is an annual activity organized by NIOSH, with its objective to introduce the latest trends in the field of safety and health that can benefit Malaysia’s industry in Malaysia with its theme of Equality, Sustainability and Prosperity. The conference provides a platform for experts in various fields to highlight new developments so that the results of technological and eco-system changes can contribute a positive impact towards the industry.
During his presentation, Fithri talked about Submarine Living, Occupational and Hygiene. He also shed light on Submarine MRO in line with ISO standards, explaining that occupational hygiene is about evaluating environmental health risks and making provision for their control with the focus being on workers and their interaction with the work environment.
