On 24 June 2022, as we approached the end of the second quarter of the year, Boustead DCNS Naval Corporation Sdn. Bhd. (BDNC) held its Second Townhall for the year 2022 at Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC). In his welcoming remarks, BDNC’s CEO Mr Feroz Ramli provided updates on the company last year’s financial results, a round-up of the successful first half of the year 2022 in terms of the company’s achievements in continuing its maintenance excellence as well as the company’s direction moving forward.
A lot was covered during the townhall, including the Excellence Service Awards, presentation of Pulse Survey results and birthday celebration for associates who were born from January to June as well as answered questions raised by the associates during the Q&A session, the townhall which was held on the same date BDNC was established 13 years ago, saw the soft launching of the company’s website by BDNC’s Head of Commercial and Corporate Affairs, Mr Azhanorhisam Che Din.
The event concluded with a special tribute programme as BDNC led farewell to our Deputy Chief Executive Officer of five years, Mr Jean-Francois Audy. He is leaving BDNC to take up another position, back at Naval Group in France. BDNC’s associates also had the opportunity to meet his successor Mr Olivier Doucy who will join BDNC in August 2022.
